Both of Kondos Markos's parents are South African National Champions as well. His sire is Kondos Ahileas who has won the South African Junior Championship Title and was a Champion of Champions Appaloosa Res. He was also the Top Male Champion of Champions of all the breeds at the Pretoria International Show as well as the Top 5 of the same class at the SA Horse of the year show. Marcos's dam was also the South African National Champion Junior female, the Supreme female at SA Horse of the Year and Top 5 Champion of Champions Appaloosa at the SA Championships.
Kondos Markos is calm and rarely gets startled. He tends to be a bit lazy and relaxed. Although he can exhibit moments of stubbornness, he quickly acquiesces when he understands that the rider will not yield to his preferences regarding direction or pace. His canter is quite pleasant. We typically keep him in a pasture with a group of mares, which is when he appears most content.
