SUMMARY:
Grooms are responsible to look after the horses well- being always and keeping the stables neat and clean.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Feed horses
• Mucking out stables daily and fill with bedding as required.
• Cleaning runouts – picking up manure and rake.
• Keep water and feed bowls clean.
• Groom regularly
• Work horses as required.
• Keep floors clean.
• Undertake washing stables, walls, lights or any other part of
the building or any fittings as required.
• Cleaning tack or any other stable equipment e.g. the
carriage, horse play balls, bins and buckets.
• Maintaining all riding surfaces.
• Any tasks related to the horses health and well – being.
• Assist with guest experiences at the stables.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall
function of the job.
